If you're already increasing hud scaling because things are hard to see you'd probably want to have the player names on the characters increased too. it would be beneficial to be able to see who is around you without staring at their name for 5 seconds trying to read it, so you can give commands to them over voice chat.
from experiences, any rush that took longer than 1 - 2 mins to gather is a failed rush.
i have seen so many failed rushed by not clarifying what to shoot and how (via this route / from here, run in, outside fire, plant c4 then shoot, etc)
@Snow nah there is no need to merge posts or anything like that. my original post is pretty old and like you said was hard to find. for the new people they are not gonna be able to find it as well.
although now that i am writing this you already know that new people found out about renegade x through firestorm trailer
im sure you've seen this but i just wanna know if its planned to change it for next patch(es)
so with one of the latest updates hud scaling included kill feed and chat (thank you very much for that) but now a lot of times the kill feed will overlap the mines & vehicle counter.
from looking at it, it appears hud scaling lowers the position rather than only scaling it up. if the position would be the same as on 100% it should be fine for overlapping.
note: mine is on 110% and i assume blackhand on 100% | both videos are paused right when a kill happened so the top kill is the top of the kill feed box (i mean the most recent kill is always on the top but still stating to cause no confusion or anything )
try editing UDKSystemSettings.ini in \Renegade X\UDKGame\Config\ and change the resolution here to:
ResX=1920
ResY=1080
you do have a 16:9 monitor though do you?
if you run the game in windowed mode the window size does not seem to be exactly 1920 x 1080 (when set to in settings) so im not entirely sure how that would look like in obs.
if when running the game in full screen looks normal on your monitor but not obs you need to resize the source by using the obs transform options
the timer at the bottom may be different for some clients by 1 min, no idea why and how.
also I'm uncertain whether warmup time counts towards it or not. but usually you would be able to donate after 4:00
