hoober Posted August 7, 2020 Share Posted August 7, 2020 I have downloaded and installed this for the first time from this site, upon launching the launcher, it simply runs in the background and does nothing. I waited an hour, tried to terminate it and launch it again, then again in compatibility mode. I will briefly summarize what I have tried thus far ... - My drivers are as up to date as they can be. - I have the latest Windows 10 updates available for the stable release. - I have scanned for malware/viruses using multiple scanners, as useless as that may be.. - I have tried to reinstall the game. - I have tried to move the game. - I have tried to install it on another disk. - I have tried another graphics card and memory. I only installed anti-virus software to scan since I figured someone was going to tell me to anyways (lol), I was not running any anti-virus software, nor windows-defender, nor smartscreen when I first attempted to open the launcher. My hardware is the following ... - i7 3770 - a dq67sw motherboard - gtx 1060 I have also tried a skylake system with an amd card in it. **TL:DR - game doesnt launch, hangs in background Since some one is going to suggest it to me anyways, I will now go reinstall windows with a fresh image from microsoft to see if that will fix it.
