Totem Arts Staff Madkill40 Posted June 13, 2017 Totem Arts Staff Share Posted June 13, 2017 Go to where the bastards congregate and you will find their beacon. (which is quite obvious if the beacon is on the landing strip) Maybe the blinky light needs to be brighter, the light itself always being visible through foliage? vandal33
Nod should be punished for letting a GDI spy or whatever planted a beacon. (this coming from a Nod player)

HuskerDoggo
the nukes/ions are good for what they are in my opinion. usually when a nuke gets placed everyone in base are scattered around to find it , which wouldn't take long with team effort, and you would still have a good amount of time to disarm it. could agree with the light being brighter like @Madkill40 said just for spotting it better when you are near it. or maybe like a very, very, very small indication on the (mini)map

Unless you're alone on GoldRush (or any map with a comparable map size) you should be able to find any beacon placed inside the base in time... It is not about that happening. It is about the difference: Nod has the same amount of time to search a larger area for a beacon than GDI has. No need to mess with the times, imao, it would be fair enough to have the ION a bit louder than a Nuke ! Running around a building doesn't take longer than running along a flat runway? Totem Arts Staff Madkill40 Posted June 18, 2017 Totem Arts Staff Share Posted June 18, 2017 Blinky light needs to be much brighter and more visible from longer distances.
Totem Arts Staff Luhrian Posted June 18, 2017 Totem Arts Staff Share Posted June 18, 2017 The Nod base is mostly a bit bigger then the GDI base, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to make the ion louder and increase the range from where you can hear it. And I agree sometimes it is really hard to hear the ion sound.
Sn4ke
I wonder what your current sound settings are but the sound settings could also get some more options
Hohndo
I would agree with making it brighter and/or flashing blue/green to differentiate it from other lights.
vandal33
not green, it would confuse when its already too late
