Updating Patch Error

Hi all. The new update came out and my computer isn't letting it go through for some reason. Once it tries to apply the download, this message comes up:

Renegade X could not be updated. The following exception occurred:

The process cannot access the file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Renegade X\Binaries\Win32\ApexFrameworkCHECKED_x86.dll' because it is being used by another process.

Any advice?

Make sure no servers are selected so that it isn't playing any of the movies in the launcher, then also restart your computer before trying again to make sure it isn't just a latent process in the background.

Make sure that RenegadeX isn't running. One of the files of the game is in use by the OS, so the patcher can't overwrite that file thus showing that error. Kill all UDK.exe processes in the taskmanager and try again.
