BlazingYoshi
I tried to get back into playing Renegade X after taking a break and i'm currently on V5.1 when i try to patch by the launcher i only get a max of 70 KiB/s at best with very random speeds from all the way down to 10 KiB/s to ultimately slowly dropping to 0 and freezing up there randomly each attempt making it impossible to download also attempts to re download the full game leaves me with a damaged zip from Area of Gaming which actually does download on 3-5MB/s but is a 721MB zip attempting to unpack it comes with the damaged error and all the other links just cuts out on about 1.1mb and dies there also extremely slow with only a few kb/s around 30-40 This is a extremely annoying issue and it isn't my computer or internet i have 120mbit/s download and everything else downloads perfectly fine i cant play if i cant patch and who is saying some others aren't suffering from this it will hurt the player base if these broken downloads keep happening or the launcher's patcher just right out stopping randomly at one point wasting hours of my time waiting. Excuses for my English its not my first language and all. Edit: here is what it looks like on my side the amount it downloads is really random too before it scruws up and it stays like this forever after it hits 0b/s

DoctorB0NG
Please download the following tool which will help us figure out where the issue is. http://winmtr.net/download-winmtr/ Run the tool and for the domain/IP address, enter czech1.renegade-x.com Let the tool run for 30-60 minutes and afterwards, please paste the output here. Let me know if you have any questions.
Ryz
I am also in the Netherlands and the patch is super fast here, so that's really odd. Hope you will find a solution soon. Perhaps simply unplug and replug your modem to see if that makes a difference?

DoctorB0NG
For some reason your packets are traveling across the Atlantic to the US and then they go right back across the Atlantic back to Europe. This is pretty strange because you have Ziggo and lots of Dutch folks who play Ren-X also have Ziggo. I would assume that's why you're getting really bad bandwidth. I can zip up a pre-installed copy of the newest beta for you. All you should need to do is extract and you'll be ready to play! I'll work on getting that for you here. Edit: Try downloading this and extracting. To start the game, go to \Binaries\Win32 and run UDK.exe http://constructivetyranny.com/renx/Renegade_X_5.14.zip

DoctorB0NG
I'll see what the status is with the CDN servers that deliver the incremental updates and see if there's anything we can do. I'm sure there might be a few others having this issue too who don't speak up on the forums. Anyways, Welcome to Renegade-X!

DoctorB0NG
It's gotta be your Internet. My host is an internap reseller and the above one is hosted on OVH I believe. Try running a trace route to help diagnose the problem. Open cmd and type 'tracert tyrant.gg'

DoctorB0NG
You have about 12% packet loss to the server and most intermediate hops. I would contact your ISP and let them know. Your average latency is also terrible on most hops and the last hop which is the most important.
