FORGOTABOUTDRE
Hi I can't attach photos but since Beta5 when trying to connect to any server I get the error: Package 'RenXHud' version mismatch [package info 886E97E7447C550F4C2FE8B15F15077D, 885BA9184BE885717CC459A3CD1CB9AB]. I've tried removing RenX from my system and a clean reinstall but still get the above issue. Help?
Totem Arts Staff Handepsilon Posted July 9, 2015 Totem Arts Staff Share Posted July 9, 2015 Try a reupdate through the launcher. Change the ini files as noted here : viewtopic.php?f=128&p=151230#p151230 Restart, open back the RenX launcher, wait for reupdating
FORGOTABOUTDRE
Thanks Handepsilon. Just went through and changed the ini's then reupated but it still gives me the exact same error. Guessing I will have to wait for a dev.. :\
Totem Arts Staff Handepsilon Posted July 9, 2015 Totem Arts Staff Share Posted July 9, 2015 Did the update fail in the prompt?

Totem Arts Staff Handepsilon Posted July 9, 2015 Totem Arts Staff Share Posted July 9, 2015 Something must be wrong with the package then... very well
FORGOTABOUTDRE
Fixed it by nuking any sign of RenX from my computer (uninstall, delete folders, registry clean) and downloading from a different server. I assume the Seattle version is corrupted.
Totem Arts Staff yosh56 Posted July 10, 2015 Totem Arts Staff Share Posted July 10, 2015 RenXHUD version mismatch? I know they changed the HUD in Beta 5, and I extend it in the commander mod, so that may have been an issue. Honestly though, it shouldn't have given you an issue on any but one server then... as mutators only run on one.
Totem Arts Staff Handepsilon Posted July 10, 2015 Totem Arts Staff Share Posted July 10, 2015 Extending shouldn't have given an issue. It might be the download itself that gives the wrong data

KingForkings
I downloaded it from the german server and after reinstalling it still doesnt work without RenXHud problem. I think it is a problem created by the devs or something like that.

Totem Arts Staff yosh56 Posted January 10, 2016 Totem Arts Staff Share Posted January 10, 2016 Same problem here. Did you update from beta 4 ? I believe the beta 4 installer never sets permissions right on the Renegade X folder after it installs it, so you'd have to have run the launcher as an admin and re-patch. You're probably better off just downloading the current beta and patching from there. Current beta download should set permissions and such.
