Phantom139
So I started hosting a server today, gave it a password and all. All of the necessary ports and firewalls are open for the server but when my friend attempts to connect he says he gets the loading screen for a brief moment or two before getting kicked back to the main menu. I turned the password off as well and he still can't join. When he attempts to connect I get this in the server window: [0210.55] NetComeGo: Open TheWorld 03/05/14 18:31:06 68.0.86.251 [0227.22] NetComeGo: Close TcpNetDriver_0 TcpipConnection_6 68.0.86.251:53732 03/05/14 18:31:
twig123
That port on that IP currently is closed or not listening. So, either your IP Changed, your server isn't currently running, or your firewall isn't configured properly (Check that the port is open in both your Router as well as the Windows Firewall). You can test if your port is open properly by using a site like http://ping.eu/port-chk/
BillieJoe67
Like twig123 said, if you have a router, check that the necessary port is forwarded to the host pc. That's been the main cause of problems for me when I've hosted various servers from home.
BlackHand1337
It all speaks for closed ports, but I also had this error after installing Visual Studio 2013. Port were all open and server worked the day before installing VS 2013. After deinstalling the server accepted connection again. Was a very strange bug, but maybe it helps you.
