Soldieroffate
Hey everyone, I've been running Renegade X for quite a bit and I noticed that there's four distinctive shades of black that appear around the corners of my monitor in-game. Does anyone know how to remove them? I'm positive that it's not a hardware/software issue since it's only present in-game.
Valor
Try taking a screenshot with F9 and seeing if it shows on the screenshot too.
Soldieroffate
I took one with Steam's screenshot uploader. Seems like it does show up there. Also, it seems like that if I view the image (in game) from a different angle, the shade seems to disappear. It was a bit more serious before but after adjusting some options in the visuals tab, it seems to become less noticeable, but it's still there. Now I'm stumped. Afevis
Can we see the screenshot?
Soldieroffate
Here's a screenie I took from a skirmish game: If you notice the corners, there's distinct shades of black. Is it a graphical effect that can be adjusted?
nopol10
At least you're not getting 50 Shades of Grey.... Nah that appears to be a graphical effect. I'm getting it too.
wolfrikku
I play the game on ultra, I also see what looks like smudges. I think its supposed to look like you are wearing the goggles, when in first person view.
Soldieroffate
Ah, I see. Thought it was a graphical kink on my part since my brother's lower-end system didn't have it.
