Former Developers Havoc89 Posted March 2, 2014 Former Developers Share Posted March 2, 2014 We are aware of the issue and are looking into fixing it for the first patch. However this issue only occurs when you change the sorting order. So you CAN join the correct server so long as you don't change the list sorting order. For now it is recommended that you use the Renegade X Launcher's Server browser for the time being.
Sebqt
I think you should make a "Known Issues" Sticky and update it so we don't get double/triple posts.
RoundShades
Oh well shoot, thanks for letting me know. Now I can join the right servers, so I am only mildly inconvinented by searching manually for just the servers that have roughly 16-30 players in it, the size I prefer. Thanks man! TigerXtrm
Ah so that's what it was. Guess I'll have to go through the server manually.
XD_ERROR_XD
You can also enter the IP adress of the server you want to join, if you can't find the one you're looking for without changing the sorting order. You can find it under the name of the server itself.
dommafia
I hope a "favorites" option is also added at some point to save our, well, favorite servers.
Aegisx5
This problem occurs primarily on servers that do not use port 7777. I think what happens is when you join it defaults to 7777, rather than the right port of multiple servers are being hosted on the same machine. I noticed earlier I joined a {GER} server and was put in another {GER} server that used 7777 instead of 7780, on the one I was intending to join. highbuzz
Sort of offtopic but is there a way to view the name of the server once you're in it? I think you should make a "Known Issues" Sticky and update it so we don't get double/triple posts. +
