Run and shoot not possible

In old Renegade it was possible to run and shoot. This was part of the auspicious gameplay. I always used it to shoot from corners or to repair vehicles without beeing hit by snipers

Who has decided to deactivate the run and shoot mode and is this possible to enable it somehow.

Or is it just a bug or i have wrong settings

You couldn't sprint in the original Ren.

If you can't even move while shooting then something must be wrong with your computer or input settings.

Like Valor said, In X you sprint, the regular movement is actually the speed of the original game's running speed. The walking speed in original was like a painful slow motion crawl.
