adamXXII
What's the issue here? I downloaded when it first came out and couldn't access the website for a while so I'm asking now. I load up the gam, everything runs fine in cinematic. Loads first mission and then bam! Game turns into a laggy unplayable piece o' crap. I don't know what on my PC needs to be updated though? -Intel Quad Core 2 CPU q9400 @ 2.67 GHz -4gb RAM w/ 3.50 usable RAM -354 GB free on HDD -GeForce 8400 GS Someone help me out here. New graphics cards suggestion etc. Thanks
Totem Arts Staff [NE]Fobby[GEN] Posted January 31, 2012 Totem Arts Staff Share Posted January 31, 2012 Are you running the game on lowest? Are you running any programs in the background? What is your resolution? The main issue is probably your graphics card. Your processor isn't bad but a bit on the low-end side nowadays. Your graphics card should be able to run the game on low or medium, but not high. I run Renegade X on highest with no problems at 1680x1050 with an AMD Phenom 3.00 GHz processor, 4GB of RAM and a 250 GTS.
halo2pac
-GeForce 8400 GS Someone help me out here. New graphics cards suggestion etc. Thanks Fobby, I have a 8600 gts in my old rig. It will not play renX, so this is why. You should get something over a 8600. A 8800 GT OC, or a 9xxx, or the newer 3 digit series over 220. Troll http://dealnews.com for a few weeks for a good deal on a graphics card. That's how I got my evga 250 GTS for less than $80.
Former Developers Havoc89 Posted February 1, 2012 Former Developers Share Posted February 1, 2012 My old rig had a 8800GT and I was able to run it on Highest with like 15-30 frames, and on medium and high it was 24-45.
adamXXII
alright thanks guys these are the answers I was looking. All my gaming now a days is done via 360 so I'm clueless when it comes to PC stuff. Is that card agp or pci? supportive of dual monitor display? I know I can just look it up but im really not into browsing graphics card. I would hardly have any clue what i'm reading anyways
