I hate to post this, but thought you should know if you don't already.

And you know, we want to ship in 2007 but if the game's not done we're not going to and because of that, we don't want to try and sell a game that says 2007 in 2008.

Well, if this is the case, it really only gives us more time. I'd rather see the game released this month or atleast by the end of the year.

So, not really that bad of news, but it's not a good thing either.

Im sure we can get most of our work done by then, but probably not release the full mod. There's some stuff we need to implement and test in UT 3 before we can get a beta ready.

at the very MOST we could have an alpha done withen that week of the release, this would be alot of work to get everything set up though...but it's highly doubtful we will be testing until about a month or so after release.

I suppose it also depends on what they change between now and then too. Im not sure how it works but the editor could be made redundant if they change things.
