Buzzer
Currently the forum settings are something like this: you can edit your posts, but only if it's the most recent post in the topic and the post was placed not too long ago (something like fifteen minutes I guess?). So basically, it's only useful if you change your mind about something right after you place the message.

Jam
I think we can all agree that the current forum settings are not cool anyway.
halo2pac
I am a fan of phpbb over vbulletin or IPB anyday
R315r4z0r
I agree, I always come up with either new things to say, feel like removing something I said, or just plain want to correct a mistake... and I'm never able to because of that. There really shouldn't be any restrictions on editing your own posts.
halo2pac
I just checked and this is actually a bug since in the admin panel it says all registered users have permission to edit their posts. When this will be fixed, I have no clue.
