Yea. If there was one game where Nod had the wrong motivation and tone, it would have to be Tiberian Dawn (C&C1). In TD, Nod is nothing but a bunch of terrorists.

In TS and TW, they have an actual purpose and meaning. And in both games it is portrayed excellently.
