Ever tought about naming the units , buildings, vehicle, everything different not related to the C&C universe saga?Then u are no more in hassle with EA and can start crowd funding this thing, you can accept Donations means u could potentionally setup a nice Dev Team that get rewarded with money flow for their work. I personally dont care if for example the Mammoth-Tank would be renamed into Gilgamesh-Tank or whatever. Ofcourse the game would lose some style when its called RED vs Blue insteand of GDI VS NOD but wheeey aslong as the gameplay is the same personally i dont care. Imo this Unreal Engine 4 Project has potentional, but it cannot be related to C&C thats for sure, else as i said u will have to blabla with EA again and they will put the dog leash on you and u already see the outcome here on renegade x... ( majority of the devs aboned the board)

something seems wrong with the patcher indeed im used to fast downloads all the patcher is giving me is 80-200kbits wich would need 1 week of download before its done. I saw some similiar forum thread about a guy whos patcher seems not working correctly too ( slow downloads ). Anyhow i cant find the mistake on my side all other downloads are fast as always... anyway when i download from 74.221.223.55:80 directly its also quite slow so its an issue that either the server wich host the patch files is slow or a routing issue? this needs to be adressed since it seems to prevent new players actually playing the game update: denver1.renegade-x.com from this mirror i can download with full speed , now how do i set up the launcher take this adress insteand of 74.221.223.55:80 lol... well... i created a new release.json file in C:\Games\RenegadeX\Launcher\ { "launcher": { "version_name": "0.63", "version_number": 63, "patch_url": "http://renegade-x.com/launcher_data/launcher-3879.zip", }, "game": { "patch_urls": [ "http://denver1.renegade-x.com/Patch5230", ], "version_name": "Open Beta 5.23", "version_number": 5230, } } then i changed in the Renegade X Launcher.exe.config to C:\Games\RenegadeX\Launcher\release.json and guess what, its patching with full speed now i dont need to wait for som1 to reply here thanks me

nvm seems like there are issues with the patch introduced today? well i wont mind if som1 would upload the current updated whole game to mega upload or something

yo i wanted to install C&C renegade X again to play it here and there. It has to download 6.1 gb via the Patcher while its only giving 80kbits download speed... would take 1 week whats going on there?

hm this leader boards are not the same as displayed in game? when i type .rank in game im on position 25 and when i click the website link im on position 3. must be a bug, or the leaderboards shown on the website doesnt auto refresh stats so they are old. also there was no reset for the leader boards for this month october

bumpz - okay it seems like it has something to do with the "movie" folder. if you remove it / rename it to skip intros it will skip the loading screen aswell and thereforce will cause high chance of game crashes up on server join. Also this crash seems to be reproducable just "reconnect" quick 2 times in a game, your game should crash with same error message

good evening, beside the daily ddos attacks id like to point out an extremly annoying problem with renegade x .Many people including me have this issue that the game crashes up on server join right at the moment after you can see your recommendations in game, ( in my case ).Sometimes i need to run renegade x "x-xx" times and switch between different server before im able to play on the desired server without udk crashing. But sometimes the joining just works fine, its like russian roulette. Sometimes also no matter how often i start renx or switch servers it just wont let me not get an udk crash untill the desired server to play on changed the map. tbh i like doctor bongs offering in creating official ddos proof renegade x servers, he is trying to help in this situtation we are in , trying to provide flawless and smooth experience of renegade x gameplay for everyone. i think we should thank him for that. !!personally!! i could live with the fact just having official servers , as long as they are stable, because this ddoser has ruined way to many matches for me already on tmx and ekt ( the only servers that are populated most of the time ). the ddoser doesnt seem to stop he is a hard nut How about highlighting the official servers orange or with some sort of special color and put the "Official servers" as recommend onces to use on top of the server list? That way new comers and existing players will definatly notice the recommend server to play on, without removing all other servers like tmx or ekt. This step without removing all other servers seems more fair to the community but might be less effective. however if people still want to play on ddosed daily based tmx or ekt even while OFFICIAL DDOS PROOF servers are online thats their own (silly) choice. 1Marathon, 1 Aow and 1 Sniper server should fit well
