  1. It has 0 sustain, you run out of ammo after a few seconds and you only have a few magazines.
  2. I don't own a server myself, but I do like that idea. Deciding on mutators might be difficult, I'll try and get in contact with a server owner maybe and pitch it to them, then we can maybe make an official balance thread, and use polls the day before to figure out what mutators to be used.
  3. Pure theorycraft here but how well would a minute 0 farland rush do? If he can get in a building, they can camp out anyone who spawns in the building due to his incredible close quarters ability, and slowly whittle down the building's health. Also, how good is he against buildings? I've never gotten that far personally.
  4. So, I don't know about anyone else, but I've found that Patch is extremely effective against APC rushes, he deals very strong damage against most vehicles. On the flip side, for nod, Chem deals great damage against infantry, so he's effective against infantry rushes.
  5. Sometimes when playing Patch, if I run out of ammo while zoomed, I become incapable of unzooming, if I switch out of the weapon the zoom is reversed, but when I switch back and try zooming I get stuck with a low FoV until I switch again.
  6. New players won't know a lot about this game. Things like the damage resistances, base functions, overall damages, this information isn't easily accessible in game. A newbie wouldn't know that you can't revive destroyed buildings, they wouldn't know what mystery crates do, they wouldn't know that despite it's great damage against infantary, the ramjet can't do jack against vehicles.
  7. Simple, and incredibly useful. This is now at the top of my Beta4 wishlist.
  8. As nice as that sounds, it would still be hard to test that balance unless you owned a server that is regularly populated, without live testing all balance is effectively theorycraft. Considering that there is at most 3 populated servers ever, testing balance is nearly impossible.

  11. The title says it all, the airstrike's sound is extremely rough and loud, Not enjoyable.

  13. I am relatively new to RenX, I played Ren1 for a bit a while ago. I started RenX in Beta 3. I hear a lot of Beta 2s talking about how OP McFarland was, and when I played him, he was extremely weak, he can't win in 1v1 against anyone except maybe an engineer (so long as they don't use C4) It's not even that I can't play him, I land at least 80% of the secondaries, and his primary only deals considerable damage in rare cqc situations. He basically can only be used as area denial in close quarter areas, which is far better done with mines. I tried the chemical trooper as well, and he too is underwhelming. They are both effectively unusable and irrelevant. If you have the starting 150 credits, it's better to just pick a free class, and save credits for other characters, that or pick engie and grab a carbine to safeguard against rushes defensively. I personally think that there should have either been a to buff chem to match McFarland, or give a small buff to chem and a small respective nerf to McFarland for them to match. Balance the game, don't remove the OP. isuckdontlistentome
  14. Well, if it gets past EA of course. EA still owns Command and Conquer. If anything it will end up on Origin, which would just kill me
  15. The fix that I see is to only allow C4 to be placed on targets that are enemy units. Simple and effective.
