  1. In my opinion losing the PP is very annoying but not so crucial like losing one of the other building. So when i played the last time on Walls and our team was able to blow up the enemy PP, i got an idea for a different penalty when a team lost its PP.

    In the orginal C&C Games your base buildings are taking damge when you have a power outage.

    I think this function would also fit to Ren-X: When a PP got destroyed, the buildings of its team are getting every Minute 1% damge until the health of the buildings are down to 1%. To clarify, I am talking about the health of the buildings, not its armor. Thats means the buildings are constantly bleeding down under their armor.

  3. Its always stupid to have an still not destroyed but offline AGT/Obelisk in your base. The building feels now very useless and no player is realy going to repair this building when its damaged.

    So I like to make another proposal for this situation:

    When the powerplant is destroyed, the AGT/Obelisk can be recharged by using the rapair beam. Its similar to red alert 2, where the tesla trooper are able to this at a defunct tesla coil:

  4. The veterancy is great addition to the game. But i noticed one problem:

    When one team has more players then the other team, the team with less players are in the base and trying to defent against the overwhelming enemy forces. So the enemy could easely get veterancy points by killing the harvester. This is another disadvantage for the team with less player.

    I see two ways to solve the problem:

    1. The players in the team with more players get less veterancy points then the other players in the team with less players.

    2. No veternancy points for destroying the harvseter.

  5. Than get all the infantries from the surrendering team at the closing outro ,line up and hands in back eyes cover and they will be all fusillier :0))

    we take no prisonners :P

    Then give the people who voted no guns to fight back? I am usually a no-voter on these surrender votes.

    Aktually thats the reason to vote for "Yes" because you dont have any guns to fight back (HoN/Rack, Airf/Wf destroyed).

  6. The only problem with surrendering is that you can't do it in the first 15 minutes of the game.

    Sometimes you are in such a noob team and did lost 2-3 major buildings in the first 15 Minutes. Aktually its now GG because you have no more chance to turn this game. But GG doesnt work. So you have to fight without any reason and the only thing you can do is to left the game :P .

    The reason why I'am so over-particular about the skirmish settings is that new players normaly going to test Renegade-X in the skirmish mode. But when the skirmish setting are not adjusted, new players could get a wrong picture about the game.

    One more thing about the skirmish. Could you pls take a look to time settings for skirmish mode in the DefaultMenu file. 5 or 10 minutes for a skirmish game are just not reasonable.

  8. just go into a vehicle (you don't need to buy one... passenger does the trick too) and wait until the timer of the c4 is expired. if you are in a tank when the c4 should explode, it does no damage and just despawns.

    Which vehicle? airfield was destroyed! Ref was destroyed! And or base was siege by GDI-Tanks (like its always is on "field"). So i was happy to finaly get an crate on the field. So we were losing and i got an dead crate while a GDI-player got an money crate. That definitely not fair.

  9. Yesterday i played as Nod on field. Nod did already lost their refernery and airfield, while GDI-buildings didn't had one scratch.

    So i tryed to farm crates. Guess what happend:

    When i finaly found my first crate, it planted a C4 at my head :mad: .

  10. another helpful thing would be:

    if the mines are damaged when you start repairing them you repair them.

    if the mines are at 100%, then you disarm them.

    at the moment you canno't repair your own mines... on mesa 2 with the emp grenades at the PP it becomes really annoying...

    Yes this is a real problem. I noticed this today when i wanted to repair one of my mines. But "puff"! I defused my own mine :P .

    So in that case, maybe it would be helpfull that your are always able to defuse the mines of your team.

    So you have a tool against mine-trolls.

  11. A new tech-building must give a real added value to the team that captured the tech-building.

    Schmitzenbergh and Ruud033 are working on the EMP-Cannon in the moment.

    And they are doing an awesome job with that :cool:

    Perhaps the EMP-Cannon could replace the overused silos in some of the old maps (Messa II & Field).

  12. What about this:

    When you pick up a crate, a bomb apears at the place of the crate. Now you have 15 seconds to run away.

    This is less annoying as an usal dead create because you see the trap and now you can better runaway from it.

    Also the bomb hasn't the kill range as the nuke :cool:

  13. I realy prefer that the losing team is getting better stuff from the crates to breack stalemates.

    But in the moment its a little bit to harsch.

    The team thats actually in the lead because they played better, is going to be punished for playing better :mad: .

    So crates should be a bit defused. Starting with this deadcrates.

    Instead of deadcrates the player could lose all of his ammunition while a loud laughter sounds. :)

    Both thumbs up for this work :cool:

    But only taking out the base defense is a little bit lame.

    Why not taking out the whole base. That means when the emp hits the base you cant use the HoN/rack, Airfiled/Waeponsfactory and the refinery dont create credits. And this for 30 secs until a minute.

  15. Now your are able again to set the Time and Vehicle limit on the maps.

    But there is new problem with the skirmish settings:

    At many new maps. All standart settings are now to 0.

    That includes bots, credits, mine and vehicle limit.

    Very annyoing is that the time limit is set to 5 minutes.

    I realy urge you to fix this. The reason why is: Imagine your are a new player and you want to test Rengeda-X. What is the first thing you do. You play skirmish mode to get yourself introduce into the gameplay.

    But with the this zero settings, you play a game that goes only for five minutes and you wonder what is going on. So if you dont want to scare new players away, you must give them the chance to play skirmish as it meant to be :cool:

  16. After a long time of Renegade-X abstinence, i started to play it again. And i realized the awesome improvement this projekt made. But there is something that bothers me: Dead crates :mad: .

    I my opinion when a player find a crate, it should give a small reward:

    - 100 to 250 credis or

    - refill or

    - speedboost

    And crates should never be a game changer. So getting vehicle for a crate is much overpowerd.

    But what is a real annoying thing, are dead crates. Crates are now a huge risk. The fun to search a create and the rewarding felling to find them are total gone.

  17. I have to add something about airdrops:

    HOW is it supposed to work?

    At first I thought this was 1 per 5 minutes. But then people can sometimes buy 2-3 vehicles in 5 minutes.

    Personally, the timer goes to 0 and then back up because someone buys a vehicles before I do.

    Its really hard to tell how its supposed to be balanced when I don't even know how it works. I think its just too buggy right now.

    Heck I joined a marathon game and the timer is negative. Yet some others can still buy vehicles.

    Its really confusing.

    I noticed that there was an air drop immediately after the airfield was destroyed. That shuold be fixed pls.

    After destroying Wf / Air Field all players of the team that lost the building must be affected of the blocking time right away the building is blown up.
