Having the game on Steam would definitely be a great idea in order to get more exposure as well as for user-simplified releases. Players could easily pre-download the files before release date and post-release getting Steam updates would make it much easier on your everyday end-user. I would say go for it! That is...unless EA has a problem with it. Well, it' definitely an option. lol Even if it stalls the release date, I am okay with it.

So it sort of sounds like the project is coming close to a release. Could it be a fair assessment to expect some kind of release in February 2012? Ya know, 10 years after the release of the original Renegade [aka 'X' years after]? Or would that be too presumptuous of me? This news just makes me very excited about Black Dawn and the standalone release.

As much as i would love to play it, i cant. :[ My computer is too much of a piece to run UT3 at all.

I play[ed] on the Jelly AOW servers. I usually tried to go for the one that drops weapons and stuff when you die. Finding a personal ion cannon or body armor laying around is always useful

Oh man I would be all over Renegade 2 if they had used Prism Tanks. They were awesome; but I dont get how they fit with Renegade 2 seeing as they were introduced in the Red Alert series. o_O? My close-second would be for Tiberium even though I'm not very good at first-person squad-management.
