  1. On tmx we currently are tracking stats an basing ranks on that, though it would be awesome to reveive extra info through rcon like repairs, dmg, beacon disarms, and points I dont think ranks should give benefits, it doesn't make sense to make the better players better
  2. Ok, it spams the logs hardcore, as in a few 100mb lines of: Warning: Warning, WARNING! Failed to create network channel for actor. Out of channels!! (2048 max). I found out you can make the server output a list of all network channels with the command SOCKETS So here is the log of that combined with the original error code at the beginning and the start. It's too big to share via pastebin or alternatives that I've tried so here's a link to the file: http://www15.zippyshare.com/v/30217029/file.html It happens on any map, fixed at map switch or restart and causes heavy lags.
  3. I've discovered a pattern in the crashing, the server uses less than 1gb ram on startup and as the server is being played the RAM usage obviously increases. But after about 2-3 days the Renegade X server is using around 3,4gb memory. Even with just a few players ingame. Now, I've been monitoring this quite a bit and I only get this crash when the server is around 3,4gb ram usage. Maybe the clients crashing, the actor network channel spam and this have something to do with eachother?

  5. I've tried to get this parameter to work with starting the server, I can't get it to work. It should automatically record demo's of every game, but it doesn't do anything. All the websites on the net say this should work, but it doesn't. I've tried setting max spectators from 0 to 1 but that didn't help. Not sure how I should troubleshoot this, any ideas are welcome!
  6. This is crashing my servers quite alot, this is the only thing that crashes it ( except for the exploit ) It happend on my old server, and now on my new server. Servers that are not played as much do not crash because of this ( at least not that I've noticed ) It seems to me that it crashes with this error especially when the FDS is using around 3,4GB ram memory. I'm not sure if it's normal for the server to use this amount of RAM? It gradually increases the usage of RAM over time from about 800-900MB to 3,4GB. I have the feeling this has something to do with the crashes on map change causing stuff to keep memory occupied ( could be totally wrong ) When having the FDS freshly installed it seems to run fine, but after a few weeks it starts to crash more and more often. I've tried to increase the virtual memory to 60GB which has not worked for me. My disks are also nowhere near full. Here's some logs: Windows event log gerneral info:
  7. This does spam the log sometimes, doesn't seem to be anything critical. I'll see if I can retrieve any logs, and yes a restart of the FDS does fix this.
  8. First off, we were asked NOT to give you IP's steam ID's etc if we didn't have any proof. So since the demos appeared not to be working you did not get info whatsoever and we made an internal ban system. Now I've talked with someone on your developer team about this and gave him some demo files which resulted in failing at loading aswell. After reading your post about mutators I am now able to play the demos. So this is the reason why you haven't gotten any, I will send you an e-mail with a link and login to our demos ( updated every 5min ) Regards, Skeeze TheMatrixRen
