  1. After over 10 years of TmX existence I think it's really time to say "gg". I've had good times in TmX/Ren/RenX with you guys and others so I want to thank you for that. I'm not going to write a whole essay about why so if you are interested just send me a pm. If any of you want the domain and or server data to somehow continue with the community please send me a pm on this forum. The dedicated server will go offline later this month.

  4. Could you guys please add version numbers to the mutators? I can't make out when you updated the mutator or which updates were made at which time. I'm also wondering what happens when I would update the mutator and people would try to play new demo files with the old version mutator. I think it won't work? That'd be another reason to add version numbers to it

  7. Good to see you're still working on balancing maps! This looks very interesting, seems to increase vehicle deploymemt time alot by removing the vehicle cave entrance

    It only disconnects the players, they return to the main menu For the one I personally experienced at least

    I've seen this happen several times too, nothing new though. It seems to happen alot less lately and I'm not really sure if it's something wrong on the hosts network or the renx server itself. As far as I could see it just loses connection to all clients, map doesn't restart or anything either. Since I switched to a new server ( different server room ) this is almost never happening anymore so that's why I suspect it's not renx itself
  10. It's happening again, what's even weirder is that it sometimes shows something like 2, 3 or 4 players ingame while there are alot more and then 0 again.

Since last night the server just shows 0 players in the renx launcher, when it tries to update it says: client is busy as seen in the screenshot I've restarted the server, restarted the dedi and left the server off for a few hours in the hope it would somehow reset but its still not working Server ip: 62.210.227.143
  13. Thanks, going to test it. offtopic: I tried to compile my own mutator but I got the error that Superclass UTMutator of class xx not found. Shoulden't it be UDKMutator for the UDK version renx uses? I used the development kit from the guide posted on these forums
  14. Tbh I'd rather have devs working on some more essential stuff that we can't fix ourselves like a unique ID for each renx installation or something like that... Maybe we need some additions to the rcon commands but with a bit of improvisation you can do alot yourself

  17. This seems to have been fixed in beta 3, server not going above 1,1gb ram usage so far!
  18. Is it possible to set a fixed map rotation and disable map voting? Most players don't like the vote system because you usually end up playing the same maps alot

As to your first example, as moderators we cannot force players to change teams but you also cannot change teams if the opposite team has less players so getting an unbalanced team is caused by players leaving not by switching teams. Second example is a case without any proof or any moderator that has seen it (from what I understand based on your post) . So unless a moderator knows you can be trusted I don't think any moderator anywhere would kick the accused person. I understand it can be frustrating but innocent people being kicked will sure be more frustrating. Just a tip to get proof for the moderators to review is: hit f5 and type "recorddemo" and report the player on the forum providing the server time it happend and the ingame time left. Moderators will review the footage and take action accordingly That being said, you can always post any issues you have with a moderator on the servers forum.
  20. We try our best to keep the server clean of cheaters/assholes but without a UUID as mentioned the best we can do is ban ip/ip ranges/hostnames/nicks. Requiring steam would also somewhat fix this, but not everyone uses it @Campingjeff: please use !requestmod if there is no mod ingame to help you
  21. I think sbhs sprint should just be reduced in duration, speed or totally removed because they can slip past very easily now. And sbhs not flickering on damage. I think thats the only reason sbhs are so strong atm and I dont think we need any of that fancy stuff ^^
