if you can connect to any server in UT3 .. check your firewall ... cause if you cant in UT3, im almost sure it will be the same thing in Ren-X -
well me im workin on it, when the beta will be out, a guy in my clan, who work @ xfire, will work on this to be able to detect Renegade-X, not UT3

the answer was in the Renegade-X September 09 update.
It will be a Wednesday, so expect the mod download to go up sometime in the middle of the day eastern time (GMT -5). If you live in a timezone far ahead of EST, the mod will be available to you on the morning of October 1st.

in UT, theres no big difference between AA 4X and AA 8X. save yourself some performance hit. drop it at 4X and raise your resolution to get he real power of your card. at a min of 1280*1024 -

my laptop cost me 800$can. and i got a 9800MGS 512mb inside, for sure compare to a desktop, its BS, but i sold my Q6600 OC 3.2, GTX260 Maxcore 216sp, 8GB ram 1.5TB HDD and 22 LCD for the same price i bought this laptop ... but now i can go anywhere with my pc. for me its ideal with my buisness .. but damn i miss my Beast ... -
why all those shit about AI ... we are on renegade-X forum, talking bout a mod who will be a ONLINE MULTIPLAYER GAME .... if they got time after, they will work on a single player .. so wait till the mod is officially release, and the SP mod is release and after start to talk about bad AI if needed

guys cmon lol building a decent pc cost max 600$ canadian. i build some myself for friend and for my studio. you can have some combo deal with a mid-end AMD Athlon II X2 cpu, a gigabyte motherboard and 2GB of ram for 180$ ... add 100$ for a 9800GT or a HD4850. a case with ''normal'' 500W psu inside, enought to power those setup = 50$. a 500GB HDD and a LG dvd burner cost around 70-80. you recycle old keyboard and mouse .. i got like 5 or 6 set laying in my house. add a 150 for a monitor. and ur in buisness . you dont need THE BEAST at start .. sure if you got more, go, but low budget gamer can have good pieces for low $$

RTS and FPS dont need the same power. RTS need really more cpu power than a FPS Game, who need GPU
