lol, south park episode where Cartman freezes himself. -
Also it's a newer version of the engine with updated tools which means we can bring a better experience to the players than we could when making a UT3 mod.

QUOTE (Demigan @ May 9 2010, 05:43 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Ooh, and nice work Mighty bob, is there going to be deathmatch in the next release? That reactor didn't seem connected to CNC somewhere.[/b]
Completely unrelated project.QUOTE (cubera @ May 9 2010, 02:02 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>On a side note, have you guys moved from ts2 to ts3 yet?[/b]
Nope. -
QUOTE (cubera @ May 8 2010, 09:47 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>and it has been shot down. WOW.[/b]
Just like that C130 eh? -
It's not a release date.
QUOTE (Demigan @ May 8 2010, 11:42 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>About your quote Sevyn:That's why they also have rockets which aren't guided.[/b]
And there's that little thing called the GAU-8.

Someone got it 100% right. I'm not saying who or which post.
-
Yes but that doesn't matter if the file names on the new meshes is not identical to those in UT3. They'll still have to replace the meshes that don't make the transition, although they will have more selection than with earlier UDK builds.
-
It's more than "a bit." Any meshes or textures from UT3 will have to be replaced because the majority of them don't even exist in the UDK. So yeah, there will be a significant amount of rework that has to be done when you open a UT3 map in the UDK editor.

It can be equipped with AA weapons (I mean IRL), and even if it isn't, it's not that hard to hit a C130.

lol, mysterious wording.
-
That's pretty nifty.

Hmm, now all I need is an nivida card.
I'm no fanboy of either camp, this ATI card was just the better bang for buck at the time I got it.
-
You'll like the next update. Well, we hope so anyways.

scores.mix files have the TS music.

Hey, my wife is crying again.

I thought we had redundancy in the list now?
-
I'll give it a spin.. eventually.

Meh, C&C was better when it wasn't a franchise; when they just went from game to game. EA pretty much killed it.
-
There probably won't be sales numbers for another month or two at least. It would be interesting to know though.

Ugh, the interview is all bollocks, but there are a LOT of intelligent comments on the article.

Newbies study tactics, amateurs study strategy, professionals study logistics. Unfortunately this game has zero logistics anymore since everything is handed to the player on a silver platter. (E.G. no economy, the maps are small, radar is always on, they don't have to manage construction and defense of a base, etc..)

QUOTE (PermaGrin @ Mar 21 2010, 02:36 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I am just wondering...
If this game NEEDS the EA server to play, what happens after a few years when EA shuts down the TibTwilight server?
Can people no longer play the game? Even for single player? Will the community have to rely on a party like how xwis (?) did for Ren?[/b]
Well, supposedly they're hosted on EA's core backbone servers that 'won't ever shut down' but if they do shut it down they will supposedly author a patch that disables the communication to their servers. Of course if they get shut down and there's no patch, then yes people can't play the game, not even single player. -
Just watch 'em on YouTube (well.. you know, until EA has them taken down):
-
Oh god.. the acting! It hurts to watch!
Oh and he only has the Nod vids.
And I'm sure there are important minimap radar videos that are missing too. (Mid-mission updates.)
