try to be a little more realistic next time, that is just plain awkward. so, let's just start from jointnoob for now. he quickly ran to his neighbour's house to get himself a camera and film everything to make himself rich.

omg, 100k+ downloads in china only... what a fanbase you got on your shoulders there! nice one! i saw around 70 people registering to the foums on the day of release here... which i see as an accomplishment too -

for the ones not sure about it or just has been staying away from the forums (i'll ask some pretty obvious ones, you don't necessarily need to answer those :Þ): - will the AI get an improvement and will it get added into the MP version? - will there any update to black dawn to remove bugs 'n such? - so will the scottish guy get a role in the MP version? and if yes, what weapon will he get a role? and now unto the more serious ones (took me quite a while to come up with those =/): - do i actually have a serious question for now? - ah yes i do! will the tib auto rifle and flechette make a comeback? - will the GDI resistance make a comeback too? plz say yes plz say yes plz say yes plz say yes plz yes EDIT oh cr*p seems like i noticed that one late just answer this one then: will the GDI resistance make a comeback too? plz say yes plz say yes plz say yes plz say yes plz yes

What i think dev's should do after finishing mp and releasing it.

nothing deleted and the SP campaign was a bit rushed at the end because there was a deadline to keep up with. they said that in another thread. and i'd prefer let them finished the SP campaign now, instead of waiting another 2 months in anxiety for a few less bugs, a little better voices and such, but does that really change the gameplay that much? especially for a game which only takes an hour to complete? i'm already happy we will be seeing the singleplayer sooner. and if i know a bit more about scripting (i am slowly learning ), i would've applied myself, but i don;t go the knowledge and time for that. sorry team and YES, i do totally respect you and your opinions. every game needs some critiques. but it's like a mosquito turned into an elephant or something over here if you would have taken it a little easier on the dev team, the dev eam would've taken it easier on you. but it seems like things are calming down now. and now... time to tock 'n roll! -

well, if you are talking about the singleplayer, i doubt it. C&C renegade's singleplayer campaign had it's ups at downs. from walking linear, empty and small paths up to the epic fight to escape the sabotaged laboratory with enemies all over the place and getting pissed every time you go up the elevator and mobuis dies becuase he walks straight into a death pit, full of mutants, SBH's and sentries. but at most of the times, the gameplay was weak because there was too little refeshing stuff in it, you alwyas do the same and fight the boring AI. the Renegade X's campaign was too short but action packed, exciting and had big open paths where you rushed into the enemy lines, with danger all over you. the tanks felt better to drive in, the humour never disappeared and you the arsenal seemed quite promising, with not only 1 weapon you use all the time. the Tac rifle was a good addition too, but i get the feleing the rocket launcher got a bit underpowered because the tac rifle was pretty capable in destoying vehicles. hope it's weak points will be sctuctures, i don't want a multiplay map full of scottish people and invisible cyborgs. i think that 'C&C renegade is superiour' your talking about it just the nostalgia coming back and you don't want C&C renegade to disappear. but Totem arts will handle that lost gem with respect, i promise you -

zunnie, i just got a PM of that frind of mine, saying those samples still might take a while, because of these reasons: 1) his software won't co-operate 2) he got lots of things on his head sorry, but i can't do anything about it

did i say AI's had to be able to repair buildings? i said make them equally stupid as the ones of C&C renegade the only thing you need to add (to the C&C renegade AI then) is being able to let them run laps at another place. and really, when you pulled this off, you already have an AI with only a fraction of the amount of scripts you would get in other games. right? no offence, but you really seem to dislike the idea of AI. you don't even agree with any of our suggestions...

buying over a game can cost a lot. and it's not that easy to get over a million dollars. -
well, i really don't think you should throw 20 AI's in 1 server (if there would be an intention to). that is simply stupid (no offence), because even a server with 3 people on each side, they can still pull off a nasty trick or 2. the point is here that if you would throw too many AI's in there, it makes the game laggy and boring. having 20 AI's in a med-small map would give targets EVERYwhere, which causes them to just shoot everywhere but the real players which decide to stay unseen for a few seconds until the AI finds another target, and then go gold farming, which takes the fun out of the game. the game is supposed to be challenging, and not to just rush an empty base with a mammy like a rambo or something. when i was young, i used to play a lot of Puzzle Pirates. the AI in that game was extremely simple, but still was capable of performing all necessary tasks no sweat. what you had over there was a ship on the sea with a capacity of 75 people, with about 10 bots, which was the absolute minimum to get a ship moving. you, as the captain of the vessel, had the command over the bots, which first would choose their taks automatically, depending on their 'skills'. some would repair the ship, some would get the ship on to speed etc etc etc. but if you were being attacked, and if your ship was damaged, you could order a few bots to get to repairing stations. and when the ship would get like 25 people on board, every time another one enters, 1 bot left, and vice versa. so, what i suggest to do with the AI (for now), is to keep the bots equally stupid as in C&C renegade, give them fixed routes to walk, let them choose at random where to go at the beginning (and let them stay there), but that everyone would able to control the bots. and imagine the GDI refinery being attacked, and when someone shouts defend the refinery, let the closest bot to the refinery walk a fixed route to the refinery, and that's it. i suppose this isn't too difficult to pull off, becuase this is very similar to the AI C&C Renegade had. you only have to rewrite the scripts.

i NEVER said i wanted to see a badass AI in the game. i just want AN AI in the game. i hate no minimum, but an AI which knows how to crouch or something like that is just fine to me. i just don't want the game to get boring if there are little players in the server. the C&C renegade AI? no problem! they were SO agressive (and cocky) that it actually made them look less stupid.

hey guys, i have played through Black dawn, and i thought it simple was awesome. hope the multiplayer bullets won't be like light sticks. becuase that's just rambo III. :3 anyways, i decided to make a thread to show you what i thought of the game. but then on a bit more original way. order = terrible ---> awesome 1. Weapons: sticks and stones out of ammo CoD look at my arsenal! 8. Originality: Rip-off BioShock Arcade games C&C renegade/renegade X 80's/90's games 9.
