  1. Steam is probably a good idea to attract even more players. However, if you decide to release it there, please also release a standalone version if possible. I don't want to be forced to use steam if the standalone alternative exists. And, in case Origin comes up as an alternative, I just have to say it's repulsive and I've not seen anything like it (in a bad way). It's just.. no. Looking forward to seeing the results of your hard work!
  2. So did I, but I don't see the issue. Unless my EST<->UTC is way of, time is currently 5 in the morning there. Considering you, and everyone else, has patiently waited for way longer time than this for these awesome guys to finish their work, I do not realise why, nor do I find it nice that people are now complaining about waiting a few hours.
  3. Awesome! Keep up the good work, I'm sure I will enjoy it once the UDK version is released
  4. QUOTE (Sonox @ Jan 8 2010, 04:45 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just to let you know - in an estimated 6 months time (thus could be sooner but also most probably later) they will have a standalone release ready that doesn't require UT3 and is free.
  5. QUOTE (NodGuy @ Jan 4 2010, 10:44 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Team Fortress 2
  6. Awesome! Am yet to actually play the game and got even more exited now that i know that you have already started going for standalone instead of UT3, in a few other posts it looked like something that was still being considered and might come in a year or so, but this is splendid news! Renegade was one of the funniest games i have ever played, can't wait to play it again with a new engine backing it Keep up the good work! (Oh and please do try to make the standalone version work in wine, would please every single linux user there is )
