Please consider NvN on seperate servers only or remove at this point

First of all, I didnt played many pub games in NvN mode. But some of the criticisms sound understandable to me. I like playing NvN on PUGs, but there is difference between playing on PUGs or on PUBs, on PUGs there are more experienced people who know what they do. On PUBs we have currently a lot of newcomers, which is basically good, but its much more harder and needs more teamwork to win on NvN mode. I like it, but atm I dont have many experiences how much the deviations are and possible solutions for them... I have a request, one thing I personally really dont like, after a NvN again a NvN map, please remove after a NvN map a another NvN map from vote selection. -
Thank you @MammothMKII. I want to add, I made several - unrepresentative - votes ingame to ask players if they are interested in "tutorial play sessions" and there was positive reactions of it. I think it would be a good thing to teach newbs and answer their questions.

Why do we like/love RenX and how did it started for you?

Well many new people joined because of the firestorm trailer. But how did they find it or maybe did they saw someone streaming, talking about it or a blog etc.? And we have some "old players" and my meant intention was, to tell new players why we all like playing this game. I see many threads with negative topics about the game. But people still playing? It cannot be all bad! So I wanted to show more the positive and challenging aspects of renx to motivate people to go through the learning curve and have the same fun as we "old ones" have -

I just wanted to ask, why do you all like renegade-x and how did it started for you? I can tell you my story.... ...TLDR: OG Renegade nostalgia brought me to Renegade X - gameplay and community made me stay. ...I played OG in 2002 and for many years I loved to play it, than my gaming clan decided to tear oneself apart, and OG ren lost also a lot of players when WOL was shut down, so I decided to make a break from gaming. Round about last year, I felt the need for reasons of nostalgia and I had some free time to play OG ren. I found out, that gamespy also was shut down and I googlet for alternatives from the community, if there are still servers and how is it possible to join them. With that googleing, I found RenX.... and I was excited that there is a remaster with great graphics, modells and that also for free. At the beginning I had some difficulties to understand the game, because it differs a bit from the original one. After some time I understood it better and I found more and more joy in it. I love the gameplay, even in hopeless cases it is possible to make a turnaround with your team. I love these matches, this seem hopeless and then still can be won, this is so exciting. Last but not least, it is a very pleasant and great community, it is not a big community, but that's kind of the charm too. We know each other and we know the skills of the people who are playing and there is not much toxic, in my opinion. And I never was that close to devs developing a game, I knew it is a lot of work to develop software, but I had never the chance to see how a game was developed and you have my full respect for that. And one important thing I want to say, thank you to the whole DEV-TEAM to make it possible for us to play RenegadeX. We know you do it all in your free time, and you have to pay for a lot of stuff yourself. It's not self-evident, that after more than 8 years (not really sure atm) a Community project is still maintained and gets updates and especially not one as big as Firestorm.

Is there any additional support needed? I could help with german, but Im not a language specialist, and it would be easier if there is a small team for it

Hi Ben and welcome back commander, you dont need do download anything special, just download the game launcher: anything "special" from servers will be download automatically from the game itself

The more I think about it, the more it makes sense to do it this way. It should generate relatively (from my perspective) little effort for implementation for a huge impact and most of the players use steam anyway.

today Im not in mood to ad a long text, but most of the points I can agree with. I want to add: we have some players who are nearly on each map change AFK, from my point of view disbalance this the teams too. some important things are decided in the first few minutes, e.g. who destroys/saves harvy and pushs the other team in defence position. one suggestion I can remember to stop this (I think it was also vom Ryz), players must press a "ready for match" or something like that. A other problem are the team switchers, even during a running game people switch, I can understand that, who wants to loose? but these people should be punished for example with loosing all the money and veterancy-rank. But please dont punish player who switch to balance teams.

yes this is a good point, a door cannot protect the same way like walls, but I think you can invest a lot of time to consider how and to what extent to protect what. Today I noticed that outside C4 still kills/damages inf inside. Funfact: If you throw a timed C4 on a closed door, and door opens the C4 is floats on the same position - Soundbug - Memory Error - Team balance just a few things which come to my mind on the quick, even if I know some of these things cannot fixed by the dev team

Thank you for fixing it! From my point of view, it was not a real big issue, it is nice and funny to fly around to see where are crates are, but I think it is much more important that closed doors are saving inf from splash damage. Which was basically a matter of consideration by Sarah, which I can fully understand. There are much more important stuff inside the game which have to be fixed. And one thing I really want to say, we players have the chance to play Renegade X for free and it is still a beta version, dev's invest their free time to develop the game and take it further. Therefore I appeal to you to express your displeasure in a more friendly way and to be happy that you can play RenX. That was my two cents on this topic

Beacons should be disabled on low player games, even on <10 players people use them, my personal opinion their is not much skill needed to use and defend them in low player games. I suggest a minimum playercount of 30 player to enable beacons. Beacons are part of the game, and it is ok to use them, but on some games/matches it is overhelming and much annoying! I have already thought about improving the sitatuation, the only option I could think of is to limit the number of beacons to use, e.g. to 10 (or dynamic adapted to the number of players or by time). A few patches ago, beacons were fully disabled (I dont know why), I personally had much more fun in this time, because people had to try harder with more strategy to destroy enemys base. Whats your opinion about beacons ingame?

Didnt know that its a known glitch/bug/issue Had the other team a commander? And if they voted one, did you of the others get his role removed?

Today I played on "Constructive Tyranny Marathon", default setting of the server is the commanders after mapchange still have their role. We had the situation, that after mapchange both commanders from previously game are shuffled in one team, both had command powers and could use them. The other team had no commander, I don't know if the other team voted for a commander, the round was also over very quickly. Was a very interesting and strange situation.

why you used that spot the whole time if you know it's kind of broken? Just because there is a possibility to use a spot like this, does not mean you have to take advantage of it.
