MooseBox
Morning All, So I've just reinstalled Renegade-x after seeing some of the new tib sun content and being away for a few years. I'm using my same machine as I've always had to play thats had no significant hardware changes (except an nand ssd as a secondary harddrive) and am getting a crash that I've not experienced before. Laucher boots fine, menus load fine, I can even boot into an active game using the join server button (or by launching my own session.) However, when I try to access the settings menu game crashes and boots me to desktop. I've tried verifying files, I've reinstalled UDK3 and have also tried other ancillary things like reducing windows resolution down to 1920 x 1080 at 60hz (4k default) I've got the launcher set at 64bit and skip movies and I've got no compatability settings on the launcher shortcut. Attached are my logs, launcher and crash dumps. Is there something simple I'm missing that someone might be able to help with? I'd love to get back in get some games going at the right resolution, not at 1280x720 default. Totem Arts Staff yosh56 Posted June 28, 2020 Totem Arts Staff Share Posted June 28, 2020 That's the 1st time I think I've ever seen it crash in a loop trying to figure out how many resolutions there are available. I know for a fact we have people who play in 4k, and one person in 8k. Not sure why it's crashing for you. Will forward the error up the chain, but in the mean time you can manually set your resolution by finding the 'Renegade X\UDKGame\Config\UDKSystemSettings.ini' file, and searching for 'ResX' and 'ResY' values. Set those to whatever resolution you need, then save that file and you should be fine.

RyanTurner
You're running the 32 or 64bit? Try running the game, check if your Anti-virus if any might be causing problems. or even checking if your computer is using the right GPU (and the most recent drivers).
