swaffelen Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 (edited) I have an HD 7850 graphics card with an i7-3770 (non-K) on an H77 motherboard, and 32 gb ram. I am getting this error after updating my drivers. I uninstalled the drivers and it worked again for a week, but today I had the same error when trying to launch the game. I first had the problem after the game updated to 5.29. Unfortunately I also updated the drivers just before then, so I don't know which caused the problem. Error shown here: Edited May 5, 2017 by swaffelen Quote
Schmitzenbergh Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 Perhaps try the AMD beta drivers. I'm installing the 17.4.4 just now (Pure coincidence ) I'll let you know if mine is screwed up as well. (I have a AMD 7950) Your card should support alpha blending. Edit: Works fine here. Try reinstalling the driver or using the betadriver Quote
Mr.Dynamite Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 Is it the HD 7950 or the rebranded r9 280? I have the 280 and haven't seen this error Quote

z89x23 Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 (edited) i have the same problem... Same gfx card R9 280.. 17.5.1 drivers.. edit: before i jumped from 17.4.2 to 17.5.1.. i went back to 17.4.4 and it works now.. Edited May 6, 2017 by z89x23 Quote
swaffelen Posted May 10, 2017 Author Posted May 10, 2017 I'm glad other people had similar problems and solved them, but updating drivers definitely did not help. I wish I knew how to roll back to 17.2.___ Quote
