Updated Rx_Game for servers

Forget it, and undo it. Swapping out Rx_Game with the in_Game downloader is apparently not a thing for the UDK. Just boots back to the main menu

@Fffreak9999 manages the default/public repo, which is set by default. You should be able to just plop it in there and play.

@Fffreak9999 @ShrewdTactician   @Cronus    I think Cronus is the only one who did it right. And after trying to join MPF... I'd say this actually doesn't work, funnily enough. So much for that experiment.

I never added it to CT since I went to sleep shortly after posting, I intend to add it now.

So I tried joining CT a few minutes ago and it downloaded the file, and now I cannot join any server except for Shrewd Gaming Server. figured I'd post this here, sorry if it's the wrong place

See 1st post and last 2 posts above you. 

 

also @Fffreak9999 Go ahead and remove it. Again see above posts. Apparently replacing the main game.u file is an experiment gone awry..

Alrighty, sounds like you've got quite a mystery on your hands. And in lieu of my problem, do I just verify my game to get the original file back? Or wait until Fffreak re-updates the server?

If you downloaded it via the in-game downloader then it didn't replace anything... you should be fine.

I missed all of this, what happened? why are we replacing rx_game?

I'm guessing that we tried to deploy a new version of the rx_game to clients using the ingame downloader?
If its dropping to main menu, its probably just missing a file in the repo that its requesting. Check the webserver logs for what its looking for.

I'm quite happy to use the shrewd gaming server as a test bed for this. I have successfully deployed new rx_game files using the ingame downloader before.

It's obsolete now.. Just waiting on a patch to replicate. Already built and uploaded.
