The launcher wont download the game

After getting myself a new PC i decided to download and play renegade x but every time when the launcher is downloading the game it just freezes.Can somebody help me ?

Try to download .msi file itself http://file-server.download/Renegade-X/MULTIPLAYER/VERSION-5.271/

I'd recommend this option to be added to the downloads section by side with launcher, and torrent too. Why it was removed anyway?
