Ability to choose map and gametype (AOW / marathon)

Just wondering if this is ever considered. I know that there is a chance marathon will be changed or removed, but if it stays there for now, would it be possible to:

- select a map

- select the gameplay type for this map

I can imagine ppl prefer marathon for one map and AOW for another.

To me, with my lack of detailed knowlegde about how this work, it sounds like a simple feature but maybe someone can shine a light on this?
