Ruincarved Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 (edited) I've been playing Renegade X for a long time now, and decided tonight to see if my brother was also interested in playing, but this ended up being quite the ordeal. The first option under 'download' on the frontpage, the file was unopenable due to being corrupted. The third option downloaded via torrent perfectly fine, but the version was Beta 5.0. No prompt was then given to update the client until the launcher was closed and reopened. Once this had been done, it updated to Beta 5.002. The same then happened again, and the launcher had to be restarted before he was prompted to update to Beta 5.003. I have to think that this must affect the game's ability to receive new players. Perhaps someone could look into making the process clearer. Thanks for everyone's efforts on making this amazing game. Edited October 19, 2015 by Guest Quote
