madman12222 Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 my first time getting Renegade X and after downloading it from the US Constructive tyranny link and installing it i get 2 shortcuts. One that's just Renegade X, and the other called Start launcher so after clicking i noticed from my steam friends list it turned on the UDK but closes shorty after starting. Same thing with the Start Launcher shortcut it closes the seconds it start up. Quote

The game has to write a lot of files, so if the permissions are jacked up it can't do it, and the game just sort of errors out. Quote
madman12222 Posted August 16, 2015 Author Posted August 16, 2015 Yeah i tried the Start admin and the compatibility mode for both shortcuts and that did not work and then i went to the Renegade X folder and saw that in the security tab in its proprieties that everyone can modify it. Quote
