Wrench
Isn`t it better to disable tanks when the AIR or WF is down? like in the barracks or HON. i mean when WF or AIR is down they cant buy flame tanks, stealth tanks, and light tanks(mediumtank,Mammoth) but they can still airdrop the rest. wouldn`t be that better? Truxa
Agreed! I'm against the airsrop entirely, but because people kept whining about not being able to buy vehicles when the building is destroyed, got them this. A nice solution is your suggestion indeed! Just the T1 vehicles. Humvee/Buggy and APC's. No MLRS/Arty. No Mammoth/Stanks. No Med tanks/Flamers/Lights. MLRS/Arty can be discussed imo, but they have huge destructive powers, which should be disallowed when you dont have strip/WF. Here come the engy rushes from hum/bug/APCs
RoundShades
Doesn't end stalemates as easily. Besides, it is usually crippling enough, considering they have enough tanks for a rush maybe twice the rest of the game after losing one. Even mammies on xmountain aren't enough between nod airstrikes and flame tank sacrifices. I mean, its 800 to kill a 3k.
Warheart
youre in a dreamland if you think a flame tank can kill a mammoth camping in the base with 3 hotties on it. not saying its never happened, though.
RoundShades
Im saying, 3 of them pouncing in, can kill 2. And if 3 can kill 2, they can amass another 3 in 4 minutes, while an airdrop takes 12. That is a steadily slipping situation.

That is a steadily slipping situation. Nobody does that though. If one rush fails, everybody seems to give up and just camp. As the community devs have been discussing, camping is way too advantageous in Ren X (as it was in Ren) and needs to have some major detriment. Truxa
Hard to camp without the heavy-duty vehicles. Easier to sally out/rush with the engineer-filled lighter Humvee/Buggy and APCs. Hard to sally out though, when the opposing team is on your doorstep with the heavy-duty armors, but thats the problem when you loose your production facility, deal with it! Be happy to get atleast a humvee/buggy/APC

There are better infantry than those, for both teams. Really, it doesn't add much when you are given a vehicle with 0 vehicle offensive power. And no, an APC has as much offensive power as a hotwire on foot on an infantry path. A smoke grenade only costs 100 too, compared to 1200 apc.
