Unit
its only happened twice, but its twice too many. Renegade X has crashed my system completely (similar to a blue screen event) twice, once in mid game just a moment ago, and once just from trying to open the game using the actual UDK.exe file instead of the launcher. both times the computer could not restart by itself i had to hold the power button and make it turn off and back on, my pc was extremely expensive, it makes me very nervous when things like this happen. is there any way i can give you a log or something? Afevis
PC Specs? You've already run this right? http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... aspx?id=35 I'd personally redownloading and reinstalling the game for starters until we can figure out what happened, as I know a number of UT3 engine games can do exactly this and the problem is usually because of a bad install. Do you recall what any of the error messages you were given were? Any bit of information can help.

I had the same problem yesterday with only a few minutes playing (around 30) without any problems (good frames per second using ultra graphics, but no AA). In the middle of a match, the sound and the image crashes and then, my system showed up a blue screen (i guess is the equivalent of the windows 7 blue screen but in wondows 8). It said that my system failed, bla bla bla, and it has to analyze for any possible errors, after that, the pc was restarted but it only showed a black screen with white letters saying that it wasn't any OS in my hard drive. Obviously i got scared as hell cause i have an expensive laptop too. I restarted the machine again and fortunately, all went well, but i was so scared that i decide to unistall the game and delete the installation file. The weird thing here is that i have some games that uses UDK like Gears of War 3, Dishonored, I am alive and Deadfall Adventures, and this is the only one who has made my pc crash. My pc specs are: Laptop Hp Envy 15-J003LA Intel® Core™ i7-4700MQ (2,4 GHz, 6 MB cache L3) RAM: 12 gb DDR3 Nvidia Gforce Gt 740M 2gb DDR3
