Sidearms such as Tiberium weapons carrying on to next game

When I buy things such as tiberium auto rifle and the game ends and loads a new map, I still have the weapon to use at the start of the game.

Another thing but I don't know if it's intended or not is that sidearms stays with you even after you die.

They are supposed to disappear after you die. It is a known glitch and should be fixed soon

I think it would make sense if you keep it on one map ...

This should also be connected to the fact that they can be purchased once, and then re-used infinitely without repurchase, even if one changes their sidearm to something else. If you change your sidearm, you can still go back to the purchase weapons screen, then hit Esc, and voila you have it for free again.
