I think I do even know this troll. He once tried to sell a shitty RA2 mod.

I'd even go as far and say that it's the one who registered here as zerk. That's the only one here, trying to building RenX upon a LoL-System and not even knowing how it works. (Well, some names are hilarious "Gigantor" for example.)

I dont think its supposed to be Renegade. He just wanted to make it look like it. He actually did a good job advertising wise, even if it is far from perfect. Lots of his ideas seem to be exactly like zerk proposed in his "have the devs considered..." thread. He changed it a few hours before the kickstarter was cancelled, but most of it is still there. Probably a deluded 16 year old with dreams of big money, making a capital mistake.

Maybe this sounds stupid but, since you guys are not allowed to take money in any single way, highlight this somewhere on the website. As we both know, a lot of people are willing to donate to the project for its amazing work, yet they have no information how to donate (or that it isn't possible at all). By highlighting it somewhere on the frontpage, you decrease the chance of people gaining money of this project. (There ARE a lot of stupid people in this world to fall for it lol)

To know that site legit or not you can follow these methods given below:

You can read user reviews, problems, their quires, responses and rating about the site in http://webutation.net

You can also do a whois search in the site WhoisXY.com and know the owner, technical, administrative contact details etc.. you can use the phone number or email id which you get in whois search and try to contact the person and clarify your doubts.

If the site has SSL certificate it is good site for transactions. SSL certificate enabled site looks like https://paypal.com.

Also... If EA owns C&C universe, and this game allows use of it only because it's f2p, then that kickstarter, isn't it also technically highly illegally breaking EA copyright too? Or is "gigantor" too "generic"?
