So yeah, i installed the game from the torrent, it automaticlly restarted my PC yet there's nothing installed inside the folder and this not being able to play. Got any solutions?

start the installer again? It should not restart your PC unless .Net Framework was installed fresh.

Had this issue too, maybe check your filesize (should be 4.183.913.219 Bytes). For some reasons for me the download finished twice yesterday with smaller filesize than this. I guess it was due to server load. If you have a smaller file you maybe need to download again.

well, the gamefront files are of 8x500mb plus ~90mb size. thats quit exactly the number you posted. It still doesn't work

Confirm that you indeed have the complete file. Head on over to this page: http://sourceforge.net/projects/md5summer/ and download the little tool - which you may uninstall after. Generate a hash on UDKInstall-RenegadeX.exe and confirm that it equals 2430B6F50422CBFA4C13C13A01620AAA

the program says "2430B6F50422CBFA4C13C13A01620AAA" so I guess it is the right file. What else could be responsible for this error?

1)Right click the installer

2)Troubleshoot compatibility

3)Troubleshoot program

4)check the first box then click next

5)Click windows XP (service pack 3) then next

6)then click start the program
