well, the games do have quite some similarities.

both games reward strategy.

both games have good graphics.

both games have medium-big maps.

Renegade X also rewards teamwork.

Renegade-X has more variety.

Renegade-X is free.

I actually love BF3 and so does a lot of other members of Totem Arts. Renegade X will play quite differently from BF3 (faster paced, easier controls and a fixed reticle) but the game is definitely still an inspiration.

wait... you thought that i thought that i didn't like the game? big mistake

singleplayer was kinda tough at moments though... the AI has superhuman accuracy, so you have to hide all the time, which i dislike...
