Renegade-X Play Event - Wed. 17th July 2011 8PM

Hey people,

We have today launched our new Renegade-X EU Based Gameserver (Germany) and we

would like to invite everyone to come join us tonight at 20:00 (8PM) Dutch Time

on the server. (7PM UK Time)

For newcomers:

Renegade-X is a (currently) modification/add-on for Unreal Tournament 3

and can be played for free (if you own UT3 that is). It sets the Renegade Command and

Conquer Universe on the UT3 Engine where you can play with a large range of Infantry

and Vehicles in warfare where you must destroy the enemy base.

Installation:

Install it into the default suggested location.

IE: My Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\Renegade

Running Renegade-X and Updating:

Then launch Renegade-X.exe, it will prompt you that you need to update to the latest version.

Simply click "OK" and "YES" and do not interrupt the update process and you should be ready

to go as soon as it's done.

Problems?:

In some rare cases it is possible that the Updater (and/or Renegade-X.exe itself) does not

function properly or crashes. In that case you can download a newer version of the executable

over here: http://www.renegade-x.com/sc/updates/Renegade-X.exe

Overwrite the existing file and launch it, the problem maybe resolved now.

A bit difficult considering the 17th of July was 10 days ago. I think you meant today, the 27th. If so it's probably best to plan the event a few days prior, because I missed the game even before seeing the event.

I saw about 10 people online, but it was a bit of a late announcement. I missed it aswell. Hopefully someone made some cool videos? :-D
