0.552 Quick Fixes!

I'm just going to get to the point...

If you cant update with the auto patcher:

If you have never updated before:

If you played the newyears game and have the 0.551 update:

http://www.gamefront.com/files/20045085/0_5_5_1+to+0_5_5_2+Update.rar

extract all files to this directory:

(windows vista/7)

"C:\Users\

(Windows XP)

"C:\Documents and Settings\\My Documents\Unreal Tournament 3\Renegade"

replacing files if needed.

make sure that you extract the files and folders.. and NOT just the rar folder to the directory.

the new frontend stuff only:

If you are able to play and you are all updated... and would like the updated 0.552 frontend

download them here:

the editor bug is still peasant so ill post a fix here

RenegadeX 0.55 Editor Fix

the editor will not load the renegade assets, in order to make the editor load the assets all you need to do is replace the DefaultEditor.ini and DefaultEngine.ini with the ones from HERE and delete UTEditor.ini and UTEngine.ini, the editor will now load the RenX assets

files location

"Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\Renegade\Config"

this will also revert the menus back to the UT3 menus

hmm and dont forgot to Update your UT3 To 1.Patch 5 and The 2.Titan pack if it not updated it not work
