Hello everyone, I apologize if this is the wrong area for this.

I recently found out about this mod, and as a fan of the original renegade I'm anxious to give it a try.

However one question has not been answered for me.

At the top of the site (as of my posting this) it shows 2 people playing. Is that for one server or total for the entire game? I don't have UT3 just yet (this weekend) so I can't see a server listing or anything.

Renegade had a strong following so I hope this mod has a good one too.

I believe it is total player count accross all servers...

Sure, it looks bad when it says 0 mostly all the time, but there are only about 2-3 servers online.

Ah I see. Thanks for the information. Would be great to see a big community come of this, the forums here already show it. I'm just surprised at the number of players being so low every time I check out these forums.

I assume the highest player count is during the times the dev team plays as well. Despite the low amount of players I'll probably get UT3 and this mod anyway.

Perhaps I could help get the word out about the mod, should the devs like that sort of thing!

Well, after Renegade X is a standalone, i think RenX will get more players

At least, i hope.

Every so often there is a surge of players online. Somewhere in the twenties.

Once the game becomes standalone though, expect to see the servers pretty crowded.

I read about the stand alone thing a while ago, sounds like a wonderful idea! Thanks for the welcome as well.
