First do i need unreal 3 to play it? because when i go to host a offline server or my own server nothing happens it doesn't load anything. Second i know the server list is offline right now and you guys are working on a hotfix but when i try to join AlienX's server with the Renegade X IP tool, nothing happens again( When it asks for the Ip and port do i just put the IP then a space then the port?) . Thanks in advance. Edit: After reading the faq i do need UT3, but i thought the UDK allowed for free stand alone games. Jam Posted September 4, 2010 Share Posted September 4, 2010 Hello cj31387 and welcome to the forums. Question 1: Yes you do need Unreal Tournament 3. If you don't have it you won't be able to play Renegade X. Question 2: You're required to seperate the IP and port with a colon (e.g. 255.255.255.255:65535). The faq says the steam version will work but i don't know how long ago that was written. Now they have Unreal Tournament 3 Black on steam. Will that version work with renegade x and most other mods?
