I thought the HOTFIX was going to address the Ren-X 0.5 anyways. so we could actually see a multi-player server and to see if people are on or not...

I brought UT3 just to play Ren X. Ive have played UT3 demo and didnt like it much, and now i have full game I still dont play it. Been online acouple of times...... hmmm. I really like C&C and brought this game purely becasue of Ren-X. I got advised on these forums to buy it so i could play. which I now wish waited for the stand alone version. cos i cant play gay gay gay happy happy happy

The most current version dosent even work. Might as well wait for the stand-alone

Any idea of how soon? ... there are many people wishing to play but when we all go on no-one is there or its not online

I bought Unreal tornament 3 and every thing is running well. Just, when ever i go online theres no people on the server. I'll keep checking

Hey Im back again. In my last post I asked if i should wait for the stand alone version of Renagade X or if i should go buy Unreal tournament 3 to be able to play Renegade X. I was advised I should just buy Unreal 3 and that it also it has some really cool mods these days. Im not really a big fan of Unreal 3 as I have the game but cant play online cos its my mates serial key that he canceled ages ago. But I LOVE C&C Renegade so I bought Unreal 3 just to be able to play Renegade X C&C. I guess I may play a tiny bit of Unreal 3 online now that i have bought it. I played Renegade C&C on Gamespy afew years ago with some of the guys on here now and it seriously rocks! I downloaded the Renagde x Mod and played it (only on single player) and its AWESOME!!! Okay so i just got home and Installed fresh copy of fully licenced Unreal tournament 3. Had a small battle online then now I just ran my Renegade X Mod and no servers can be found do i need to type in a IP address somewhere perhaps? .. or are there problems with the servers? ... please help UPDATE: I have it working now. I was trying to connect through the server -list programme. I just downloaded IP tools and put the IP in and its working

Yeah I would love to come play this game again! unfortunately i dont have Unreal Tournament 3 tho ... im guessing there are alot of people out there like me.. so that could be to do with not having many people on the servers. Nice and easy to download Renagade-X and what have you... but HAVE TO HAVE Unreal tournament 3 that sucks. I dont have Unreal tournament 3. It sucks because I remember playing and really enjoying this game on 'Gamespy' servers with afew guys here on this site and they were great guys. Only thing is im not sure if I want to buy Unreal Tournament 3 I played the Demo and I didnt really enjoy it.. as for Command and conquer ONLINE was amazing!!!! I have palyed the demo of renagade-x in Single player .. (by-myself) and this looks really really good. Im thankful we have dedicated people who love this game and have great skills and spending thier time to do this. should I just go buy Unreal Tournament 3 to play Renagade-x.. cos now i cant play against anyone online No one on gamespy and cant play renagde-x I have read something about Renagde -x will be like a stand-alone Game sometime and wont need to have Unreal Tournament 3... Then I read that it wont be stane-alone because of legal stuff. which is true? what should I do?
