I dont get it startet

I have UT with patch and i have RenX with patch.

but i cant get RenX startet - it ever tells me "server is not rechable" ....

except 1 time and than it startet downloading files for hours and stopped in the half

I tried the servers from the serverlist and some out of the forum, buts ever the same.

May.... i missed any step? idk.

Are you launching from ?
UT3.exe
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Unreal Tournament 3\Binaries\UT3.exe" -mod=..\Renegade -solomod (modified UT3.exe)
Renegade-X.exe (frontend) serverlist

Have you intalled ut3 to default directory ?
"C:\Program Files\Unreal Tournament 3" 32-bit
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Unreal Tournament 3" 64-bit

ave you got ports/app open on your firewall (windows and/or 3rd party ... norton, ect...) ?

Can you play in single player mode ?

Do you have v0.40 as the old version will not work on servers any more

Its a "german" pc... thats why my paths a bit differnet.

I launch the game from the Desktop Symbol of Renegade X

"D:\Games\Renegade X\Renegade-X.exe"

Than i get the serverlist etc..........

UT is installed in:

D:\Games\Unreal Tournament 3\Binaries\UT3.exe

Renegade X is installed in:

D:\Games\Renegade X

I think i got the normal 32bit version.

I just have the normal windows firewall, which is "opend" for Renegade X ...

i dont use any other walls and just the normal verion of "antivir" << virus scanner. (no firewall included)

My verion of UT3 is 2.1

My version of Renegade X is now 0.40, i had bevor 0.36...

I will give it a try.

But . do i have to use a "command" in the commandbar? << dunno the english word.

In german its "Ausführen" - there u can write paths like "C:Windows\Temp\" to open this folders quickly...

what OS are you using ? windows or linux ?

and is the OS installed on D:\

renegade is installed to

C:\Users\user name\Desktop\Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\Renegade

not to the game folder

Now i got it... damn i was wrong the howle time

I thought its a "extern mod"...

now i installed in the same directory of UT3 - with version 0.4 and it works!

btw genius work u done there guys!

hope it will run stable... ^^
