Walking backwards is pretty good if it works, i recall a moment on field when it was 20vs20 i got given a GDI Engineer, so planned my approach on teamspeak with few other guys, walk in backwards and once i got closer to gdi's base, mrls were shooting everywhere so i started shooting towards my own team so they didn't suspect me, casually strolled behind the wf, nuked... few seconds later few gdi come beside me and just run past me as i pretending i was defusing the nuke.. lol safe to say gdi lost wf right after that moment, and lost the game not to long after that..

As few may know i love playing this game, (despite my wee rants at times) i upload a fair bit to youtube off my games/funny moments with friend and decided it was time to have my own intro video, anyhow after few days of searching i finally found something that resembles something in a game, this being a SBH..
What use think?

totally agree. everyone should use teamspeak. EKT and TmX are incredibly laid back. you wont get trolled if you join either of our teamspeaks. odds are youll get a warm welcome! we need more talkers in this game. if you need help feel free to pm.
However if you're in EKT ts, then we like to troll some folk like dyno now and then, enter with caution, and leave with the love of the family.

i can't speak for TmX, but i don't see why we would activate weapon drops
Because its fun?
Sigh.
I'd much rather we ask for a limitations on SBH (and probably techs) for drops rather than just never use it.
Then feel free to run your server with weapon drops, problem solved.

As a reply to page 7 or 8 about weapon drops being activated, i can't speak for TmX, but i don't see why we would activate weapon drops, there is already enough folk in renx who do nothing else but pussy around with sbhs doing nothing for there team, last thing we need is them whoring weapon drops.
However, we may have a "2nd server" where we perhaps may put this setting on, but as of now it's highly unlikely. but who knows.

Looking forward to a lot of these well needed changes, Agree with the above, If emp grenade blast can disarm prox and at mines, mining has become really pointless.
Also i may of over-looked this, but is there going to be any updates on the banning system>.
A way to ban for map ie...
Someone can be tbanned so they can't rejoin until next map (more ideal rather than a 24hr ban for like bad attitude etc)

Field is a good map and why shouldn't an orignal map not be in the game?
Well it better be some pretty damn big changes because as I see it the map is just beyond repair bad. I hated it even in the original game, its so boring I'd rather play marathon under.

"forced to remove you" due to my personal dislike of your username.
Only thing needs done is remove the silo (however will be looking forward to seeing the updates for this map on b4)

mined the shit out of your base and used 80mines in total, where you bored and following this person around? lol as this mutator is only on the tmx server and they don't have anywhere near close to 80 mines on any map

Imo... only thing they need to do is remove that vote system at end of game, and let us do our own map rotation. only possible way to change map is via in-game voting system. that would solve all the issues of playing the same shitty walls map constantly

The mutator is a server side addition, To my knowledge it's still going under tests and they're working on it daily. I for one am sick to death of idiots constantly over-mining in dumb places to screw there team over. Getting a eva message to your to team informing you of who has over-mined is a good indicator to inform the whole team who's the person responsible.
It has nothing to do with big brother, it's about making the server better so everyone can enjoy it.
Also the team gets the message to my knowledge as that part of the mutator has been fixed.

So this mutator seems to annoy you, but the constant stupid "building need repair", "move out" "fall back" spam is all right? 9/10 those spams are not useful, and just people being tards spamming for the sake of it.
I like the mutator, it's nice to see people within the RenX community actually taking an interest and helping out to support there community, the only people i truly see complaining are the ones who don't contribute at all, come on a server and bitch that the server sucks, it lags, crates are shit, crashes etc.. Newsflash for you all it's BETA3 .. Instead of bashing the server, why not take it up with the devs?

Hey heyyyy
So after a 9 month exile from Renegade-X, with other commitments in real life to sort out, I decided to pop back on and see how it was all getting on, Now i haven't browsed too much through the forum as this is first time i have been active in a long time, but can anyone point me in right direction as to what has happened with/to TmX/Ekt? and is there any irc servers where users are hanging out?
