do i have to have UDK installed on my computer to play?

i did what u said to do afevis and im still having the same issue. ive placed my specs at this link http://rencorner.com/index.php/topic/4241-help-me-with-x/ not sure if thatl help u figure out my issue?. also i notice when the game was near the end of the install while installing net.framework that my screen did a little quick glitch, plus it took a very long time to do the net.framework. p.s. when i start the launcher & when it pops up it does not fix my screen. not sure if this info can help u to help me but i sure as sh!t hope so thanks for ur time and effort

i used the link provided here in RC to download it and i did and installed it but when i click join this pops up BUILT WITH UDK has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. please help me any and all ideas r needed I MUST PLAY THIS GAME!!!!!!! truly yours M0nster
