    I'd rather play Call of Duty if it meant I didn't have to...literately...stand next to someone to kill them with a shotgun. That's just poor game design.

    Title says it all. The shotgun is too weak. Even in close range it takes too many shots to actually kill somebody. It's like you have to be directly right next to them to do any kind of 1 or 2 hit kill damage.
