In the refinery the area where the silo is you can place beacons/C4's in the walls. The only way to disarm or see them once placed in the wall is be in first person. The problem is in the texture, the silo has regions that stick out, and there seems to be no collision in these spots. Its directly on left and right side of the boxes/rectangles connected to the silo, the center is at the same level as the curvature of the silo so no problems there. You can see the glow from the beacon but you can't directly target it without being in the wall youself and in first person.
