Nice work

TRION Worlds is the publisher, Petroglyph Games is the developer; The latter having some of the old Westwood crew.

Fobby[GEN]]Everyone got emails with instructions to reset their passwords. Check your emails.
Mine ended up in the spam folder. You should set an SPF record to avoid this from happening in the future.
Also, you need to set this forum to sort threads differently.

Awesome stuff, as always
Edit: Love the mp3 but wish it would be louder at the parts where it says "Command and Conquer" as right now I can't even hear it.
If I had never heard the original I wouldn't even know it was being said in this version.

Naval vehicles would be fun to use in some custom maps
*imagines Renegade's first hovercraft rush*

Think you mean decreased, longer load times would be bad -
I was reading about their editor yesterday:
http://www.moddb.com/games/starcraft-ii/ne...-want-to-mod-eh
Really cool stuff!
/me waits for someone to remake some C&C games using the StarCraft II engine
-
No. It's an abomination of the C&C name.
-
I've got a bunch of people interested in it but it would appear few, if any of them actually play UT3 and aren't willing to buy it for "just a mod" they may or may not enjoy. I expect the standalone to change this and be a very important milestone.
I personally hate mass-invites on sites such as facebook but I'll make an exception for Renegade X when the standalone is available
-
Congrats on the release!

oh my bad, I was thinking that was the vehicle limit when you were talking about how many GDI vehicles there are in the game *oops* lol -
Awesomeness.

It's very clean and clear captcha and no bots can read it. After it fails, just add question like how much is x+y?
Or change to 3D captcha.[/b]
If a spambot is capable of bypassing a CAPTCHA, imputing an email address, reading a validation email and following the correct activation link, what makes you think something as simple as that won't be cracked?

If you guys ever intend to upgrade to IP.Board 3.0 you might wanna look into this: http://forums.invisionpower.com/topic/2888...toring-service/ -
I've seen at least a few new maps so far

QUOTE ((NE)Fobby(GEN) @ Jul 24 2009, 11:55 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Those guards weren't even standard Nod soldiers you know. Just look at what they're wearing. They don't need to be carrying around pulse laser rifles.[/b]
I thought those were GDI soldiers actually, since Kane arrived by GDI transport. Then again, neither his legs or arms were bound so he couldn't exactly be a prisoner. Gotta love how the top heads of GDI have little to no guards in that room as well <_<
And GDI had obtained the tacitus previously so I don't see why they're so amazed like they've never seen it before.
All minor details though... The trailer was very cool but it doesn't any a single question I have about the actual gameplay. -
I thought they were using Joomla or one of those other major CMS apps out there?
Besides the unlucky bastard who has to style a new skin or write some custom php modules it should be fairly easy for the average person to use.

The forum tells me I don't have permission to view them.
Only thing I don't like about the HUD is the radar, it looks too big and bulky and doesn't really flow with the rest of the design. I'm sure if I was playing RenX on a regular basis I'd get used to it though so no biggie. -
Tiberium Twilight, I love RTS games. Renegade is actually the only FPS I've been able to play without getting easily bored and I think it's because of the RTS elements in it. I'm just not a fan of shooting things with no greater objective to achieve.
-
If it's quick and easy for the team to do sure why not, but I'd rather not have them wasting time on something as useless as bouncing boobs...
-
A bit disappointed there's no video like there usually is, but that APC looks amazing
I like the Flame Tank, looks too clean and shiny though.
-
Since the disappointment of Generals I haven't bought a C&C game.
JeepRubi's reply seems the most realistic though.
