Its a ghost glitch.. it happens all the time. The reason the frontend says it is so that you don't have to waste time launching the client and joining the game only to be denied access. You have to either join with a different nickname, or find a moderator to unghost you.... ALSO i think there is a command to do it yourself... ask around.

Knock it down to a 32 player server and I will donate, since 64 is over kill and we have not filled both yet. and ya... 90 Euro is insane. I know many hosters your way over paying since counterstrike and Crysis servers are 90 cents a slot.

I'm just going to get to the point...
If you cant update with the auto patcher:
If you have never updated before:

If you played the newyears game and have the 0.551 update:
http://www.gamefront.com/files/20045085/0_5_5_1+to+0_5_5_2+Update.rar
extract all files to this directory:
(windows vista/7)
"C:\Users\
(Windows XP)
"C:\Documents and Settings\\My Documents\Unreal Tournament 3\Renegade"
replacing files if needed.
make sure that you extract the files and folders.. and NOT just the rar folder to the directory.
the new frontend stuff only:

download and extract this to your renegade directory. (replacing every file conflict)

edit: yes I see the error, it originated from an exception in presentation.dll which is a 3.5 SP1 feature...
